Here is the quality of our Porter Davis House. . . .
We have been told that ALL of this work is well within the acceptable quality and standards of the building works as set out in the Porter Davis documentation that was provided to us AFTER PAYING, AFTER CHOOSING THE HOUSE, AFTER TAKING OWNERSHIP.
Also note, to date, we have been in the new house more than 14 months.

Once you have looked at my pictures, check the same house out on the Porter Davis website, see for yourself the differences between their house, and the house they sold us. What you expect to get for your money, and what you actually get for your money. http://www.porterdavis.com.au/#/homeviewer/francis/29family.
I have been given the absolute run around by Porter Davis, with trying to obtain the "NEW HOME" that we have purchased. Whilst we are to understand that nothing can ever be 100% when you move in, at least make sure the clients get what they pay for, instead of the perpetual wasting of time and, money, the lies, the damage to other parts of the building, the mess, the inconvenience, staying home from work etc etc.
We have been undergoing our 3 month maintenance, Since January 2009, and still, things are not acceptable. . . . . . . . .
Even the concrete slab the house sits on isn't level, the maintenance person from Porter Davis tells me "What can I do about that ??". It is so far out of level, that the feet on the fridge, the left side is all the way up, and the right side is all the way down, with a floor tile under it to make it level ! !
I can go on and on.
I can even make comment on 2 other Porter Davis constructions in our street that the home owners are regretting purchasing from Porter Davis. There are 2 new Porter Davis houses that I know that flooded during the week of handover, due to the lack of due care and diligence. Now these people have carpet that has been wet and dried out (in a new house ??) their walls are swelling because they have been wet from the flooding. . . .
Our immediate neighbours' Porter Davis house has still got smashed tiles on the roof, mind you, Porter Davis has sent someone to replace these tiles.. . . but they are still broken.
